How to image Panasonic FZG1 Toughpad?

Does this model have Secure Boot? If so, can you ‘Disable Secure Boot’ in the BIOS and try again?
This black screen boot could also occur if your boot image was not UEFI compatible. However, since MDT 2012, MDT will build all ISO’s and media folders with both legacy BIOS and UEFI boot files and boot sectors. Which version of MDT are you using? This blog post by Michael Niehaus explains this and much more about UEFI.

Also, UEFI requires a different hard drive partition setup. UEFI needs a GPT drive layout and the efi partition is FAT32. UEFI cannot read NTFS boot partitions. The TechNet article ‘Sample: Configure UEFI/GPT - Based Hard Drive Partitions by Using Windows PE and DiskPart’ shows the differences between the two formats. This will be important for the USB deployment method that you mentioned, as an NTFS USB drive cannot boot as UEFI. This TechNet article may also help you out with the USB deployment issue, ‘Windows PE USB: Install Windows PE to a USB drive’. There are some troubleshooting tips in this article that may help.

Hope this helps,
